Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Mr. Bojangles – Available for Adoption
Mr. Bojangles (AKA BJ) was rescued from the streets of Boston badly beat up. This senior kitty was not pretty. After months of fostering he still isn't huge on being touched, so his foster just brushes his back lightly with her fingers, maybe once a day... But the good news is that he doesn't hide anymore, has his "favorite places"- pillow on table behind couch; on the couch; hanging out in the plants and on a chair tucked under the office area desk where he can survey the room. He is always within arm’s reach – so not a house spirit. He will be when he goes to a new home, but once he comes into his own at his forever home it will likely be a similar transition.
He hasn't swatted in a very long time, and only rarely hisses, but when he does, it’s not with any real "commitment" behind it, more just for show. BJ loves his big scratching box, eating seafood pate, and when his foster wiggles a string! Any patient adopters out there willing to give this boy a chance?
Mr. Bojangles (AKA BJ) is approximately 8 years old, neutered, negative for both FeLV and FIV, and up-to-date on all his shots. If you are interested in meeting him, contact Boston's Forgotten Felines on Facebook or at catadoptions@bostonsforgottenfelines.org!
