Kara has such a sweet personality! She loves being outside but also loves to chill on the couch. Hasn't barked once. She is an extremely calm girl who loves to relax, cuddle and receive endless amounts of belly rubs. She loves long walks and being outside. She is good with other dogs, unknown about cats but wouldn't recommend as she has a history of killing chickens! Cara has been known to jump a fence so it's not recommended she be in the backyard unattended but when outside with her people she's a good girl!

Our dogs receive heartworm and flea/tick prevention the first week of each month, March through November. Dogs that have stage 3 or 4 dental disease will receive a dental procedure in rescue. We aspirate all lumps and remove those that our veterinary partners suggest removing.

Adopters will be responsible for continued preventatives, follow-up appointments, and medications (if applicable).

$50 discount for seniors (65+) and veterans. Adoption fees help pay for the dog's veterinary exam, vaccinations (rabies, distemper, and bordetella), HW test, blood panel, a microchip, and spay/neuter if needed and additional health needs specific to each animal.
