My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Frank is listed as a 10-year-old but can be as active playing with the younger ones so possibly younger himself. Frank will warm up to his humans eventually as he’s still learning to trust but when he does, he would like a spot next to you on the couch. He has now learned how to use a dog door and is accident free in his foster home so that would be best for him. He is also crate trained but really does not require it due to good house manners. He has his active moments and his lazy moments as any senior would. He is good with dogs and kids but would do best with older kids because the running around can freak him out a bit and he can be nippy like a puppy when excited, usually when you get home, or he wants to play etc.

Frank is a little guard dog and does guard the front door and will bark and charge at it when someone comes in and out occasionally. He is still a little fearful of sudden noises etc. and may bark but not often as his foster home is noisy and he’s adjusted well.

Frank will need a patient human who will continue showing him it’s ok to trust. He would make a great companion and would love to have a dog buddy to spend his days with and learn some confidence from them!
