Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Do you ever feel like life is moving on without you? And even though you ask it nicely to slow down, it won’t? That’s how I feel right now. Maybe if time slowed down, I could catch up to my siblings. They adjusted to the shelter so much quicker than me. I don’t know why I’m still having a hard time when I’m trying so hard. My two sisters adjusted quickly and found homes already! My brother, Nico, is still a little shy, but he already made a best friend and is getting more and more outgoing. It makes me kinda sad. I want a best friend too. I love people and other cats so much and all I wanna do is hang out and snuggle with someone, but this whole shelter thing is really hard on me. There’s so many changes. Every day, there’s new people and new cats and old cats leave. There’s too many changes. What if I make a best friend and they have to leave me behind? It makes it really hard to do anything but hide in a tree and worry all day. Being a scared cat in a shelter is tough. It doesn’t really make people jump to come meet you. I mean, I’m not scared of people like some of the other cats. But being scared of changes isn’t much better. You could even argue it’s worse because you can get used to people, but how do you get used to change? Ugh. I know the right person is out there and one day an application will come in that says Naomi at the top. So I guess right now all I can do is work on making myself perfect for them. If you know them, please tell them I’m trying. And thanks for listening. Good night, Internet.
