Hello my name is "Dax”
I was rescued in Augusta, Ga after being lost on the streets for quite some time. Beat up and bit up I was wandering around severely injured and needing someone's help. Thankfully a good samaritan found me after I showed them I was a sweet boy and gave their furkid lots of kisses, they made some calls and got me the help and sponsorship that i needed.
RIght now I live with my sponsor/foster family, they have lots of furkids that I get to interact with (dogs and cats). However, I was never taught properly how to act around little furkids like cats and small dogs, I sometimes think they're fun and want to chase them...but I found out that was a no no...understanding this fully may take me some more time for me...
But! I really love my bigger step brothers and sisters, they are fun and make me happy and like to wrestle just like me :)
I also love playing with my toys, babys, and getting big hugs and kisses every day. My foster family and I go on car rides and leashed walks, they're a blast cause there's so much to see and so many activities! I would love to see what's in your yard, how about you and I go for some adventures together?!
Overall, I'm a really easy going fella. I rarely bark unless it's me giving you a warning of a stranger or noise. I love my crate at nights, I tuck myself in with one of my babies and never cry cause I'm a big boy and feel safe in my den.
When it's time for a walk, I will sit for you while you put the leash on me. I know sit, paw and down, but sometimes I get them a little mixed up so I just roll on my belly and act goofy, that usually gets me a few belly rubs and my treat anyways...(my foster dads a softy like that)
I would be your best companion, loyal and loving. You and I will be the bestest of buddies...we could go walking, hiking, watch netflix, talk about the weird neighbors dog with a mohawk... sniff things together....All the best things in life we can do together!
