Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
COMING SOON!
Aries is a 2 year old male Australian Shepherd. Aries is a love but does resource-guard food items resulting to him having a bite history. Aries is good with most people, dogs, and is your typical Aussie. He is very playful, affectionate and smart!! Aries also has an autoimmune disease called Lupus on his nose that his future owner will need to manage.
Aries will go to home with the following credentials:
-Someone experienced with herding breeds (no exceptions!! He is NOT a “first time” Aussie). No experience? I would keep searching.
-Aries will go to a SMART handler, who will be willing to follow through with managing his resource-guarding and working with him.
-Someone active and who will engage with him. Aries LOVES his people and friends. He is very needy and will need someone who can give him lots of attention.
-Aries would do great with another dog that will teach him manners. He does best with females but does good with most males also. He is super playful! An assertive yet playful female dog of his energy level would be ideal.
-I would encourage his new person to work with a trainer! Aries is a total pleaser and is fun to work with. He shows a lot of potential
-Arie’s new owner/owners will need to be alright with NOT giving him ANY bones, raw hides or ANY high value food items until he has worked it. When we mean 0, we mean it.
-No small kids or animals (no exceptions!!!) He cannot go to a home with kids. He is alright with them but with his bite history, there is no reason to risk him going to a home with kids. Again, 0 exceptions.
Aries is crate trained, descent on leash and loves car rides! He will need some obedience training but with the right handler, will be great. Aries is UTD on vaccines, neutered and microchipped.
