Matilda is a young, gorgeous, affectionate, healthy girl looking for a forever home!
She was discovered on a neighbor's doorstep, and staunchly refused to leave. When the front door was opened, in she went! Matilda was clearly brought up indoors around people - she is super sweet, trusting, and affectionate.
She had recently been lactating when she was found, but unfortunately we were unable to find any kittens anywhere in the vicinity, and Matilda had no desire to leave the safety of an indoor home once there.
The vet thinks Matilda is a little under a year. She has been spayed and is doing well. She has also received all of her vaccinations, de-flead, de-wormed, etc, and this healthy little girl tested NEGATIVE for FIV and FeLV. Hooray!
She is the picture of health and happiness - the only thing that could make her happier is a permanent home. She is a very petite girl who LOVES to play, run up and down stairs, and give you head butts in hopes of getting petted. Her darling black spots make her look like a little spotted cow. She likes to be held up over your shoulder and watch the scenery out the window. Matilda's foster people have two other cats and she seems to get along pretty well with them, so a home with other kitties would be fine for Matilda. She could also be a good single cat. She's not very chatty, but she loves attention!
This poor girl has been through a lot for such a young cat, and she deserves a nice lap, a sunny spot by a window, and some love and care for the rest of her life. She's had a taste of the streets and never wants to go back! Can you find a place in your heart and home for Matilda? She is healthy, fully vetted, always uses her litterbox, and would make a wonderful companion!
