My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

***Adoption Pending*** I’m the Paco man! I’m a 8-10 year old, 4.5lb chihuahua. I love to sleep and burrow down into the covers. My jaw was broken at some point and was never fixed so I have lost most of my teeth which severely hampers my attempts at being vicious. It’s hard to look mean with your tongue hanging out! I am crate and potty trained and am up to date on my vaccinations and Heartworm/flea/tick prevention. I do well with other dogs but ignore the cat completely. I would do best in a home with no children. I also am neutered and microchipped. A fence is preferred so if you think that you need a Paco man in your life please fill out an application at https://www.handsofhoperescue.com/adoptapp No phone calls please.
My adoption fee is $250.  All adoptions require a completed ADOPTION APPLICATION. Once your application is approved, we will put you in touch with the dogs foster to see if you and the pet are a good match. If so, we will arrange a meeting for you and the pet. This dog is fostered in Pratt, KS and adopter must drive to pick up. We do not ship or deliver. Please Note: We are a RESCUE, which is different from a shelter. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process.
