Here's what the humans have to say about me:
We do not adopt dogs from just phone calls or emails or Petfinder messaging. Please do not fill in adoption forms anywhere else, but on OUR web site. Thanks for that.
To start our adoption process, please fill out our form on our web site at: www.spokanewienerdogs.org and see the Adopt a Dog/Fee page with more details on how we adopt our dogs. There are a lot of questions answered on our web site and personality details below about each dog BELOW so please READ BEFORE getting in touch. We already answer 500+ emails a day. We do answer questions on dogs once our adoption paperwork is filled in so we can match to the right homes.
Please indicate which dog you are interested in on our adoption form. If their name says "pending home" then they are not available and are on a test drive with a new family. We do remove our dogs when our adoptions are final so please do not ask us if dogs are available if you see their ads.
There is an adoption fee of $300 for this dog.
Well Cooper is a cool dog and one would not know he is on heart meds with as much as he runs and plays here. His heart meds run about $60 a month including tax. He has some food aggression issues so we feed him in a dog crate but he might be best in a single dog home.
Cooper came to us because his owner passed away but he seems to be quite a happy soul. He is having fun yelling at the horses and playing until we find him his last home.
This boy is amazingly smart and easily trained while he is training his people. He will need a completey safe and secure yard as he will get away and go for a nice run. He loves to zoom. I have him dragging a leash here until he knows he needs to come when called or he will play keep away with someone trying to make him come back in the house.
Just a fun, cool dog but he is active and wants to stay active even as a senior.
If you do not have a fenced yard or other dogs or cats or young kids this boy is not for you which is why we have folks read our To Adopt page on how we place these hunting dogs. Thanks.
