My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

***The first step in the adoption process is to complete the adoption application at www.emmetcountyanimalshelter.org***

Rainbow is an adorable black cat that came in as a kitten June of 2020 from a home with way more than they could care for.  When Rainbow arrived she was shy and not sure of what to do but she has blossomed into a sweet girl that is eager for an ear scratch.  Rainbow is very used to living in a multiple cat environment, but as she has matured, she has started preferring high perches away from the other cats. She would be happy as an only cat. She likes the running wheel and would love a dedicated human to play with her. Rainbow is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, micro-chipped and FeLV/FIV negative.  Our cat adoption fee is free will to approved applicants.  If you would like to add a tiny black house panther to your life consider pretty Rainbow!

Go meet their pets

Check out all of our pets online at www.emmetcountyanimalshelter.org or send in an application to meet a specific pet! Once our shelter is open for operation stop in during our open hours to visit with a fuzzy friend in person.

More about this shelter

The ECAS is an all volunteer, no kill shelter. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome pets in need due to neglect, abandonment, abuse or from simply not being wanted! We started in 2010 due to a need in our community. We are currently a foster based organization and we are currently building our new shelter facility. We work hand in hand with other rescue and shelters in the area to help out when and where we are needed.
