Meet Mamacita!

This special girl was picked up from the beaches of Puerto Rico as a part of our Spay/Neuter release program. Sadly, we simply can't find a home for every stray dog, but what we can do is make sure they don't have more puppies.

With Mamacita, after her spay she needed a little bit more time to let her stitches heal. And after 24 hours with us at the rescue we knew we just couldn't let her go - she truly is a special one.

Mamacita is currently living with a foster family in the Portland area and she's absolutely thriving with her two foster dog siblings and mom + dad. She LOVES cuddles, laying in the bay window and enjoying the backyard.

We would like to find Mama C a home with at least one other dog to keep her company.

We think she's about 4-5 years old.. she's so sweet and loving. And she couldn't be more laid back or easy tempered.

If interested, please fill out an application. We try our very best to respond to all applicants, but with an extremely small team and our number one focus being the dogs sometimes it's just not possible. Thank you in advance for understanding.
