Here's what the humans have to say about me:
MAC UPDATE! Mac is approximately 8-9 years old, weighs 16.6 lbs and does well with other dogs and cats. How cute is that little face??!! From his foster mom: "He would do best with someone who is home most of the time as he needs to go out often. He does not mind children but would probably do better with short visits from grandchildren or neighbor friends as he is a senior and likes to nap! He is a happy boy (look at that smile!) and does a little dance at mealtime. Mac likes to roam around the house but comes when you call him and has restricted vision in low light but learns his way around very quickly. (he does have some cataracts which the vet said could be removed if adopter wanted to do that) He will snuggle on the sofa in the evening and watch tv with you and even gives kisses! Mac is crate trained, quiet once in and sleeps all night. During the day, he needs to go outside fairly often, enjoys short walks and hanging outdoors with his person in the yard. Mac LOVES to eat!" Mac is not quite housebroken but with consistent attention, his foster mom thinks he will get the hang of it. (he has been bounced around a lot sadly) He will also need to see a groomer probably every 6-8 weeks. He has been riding in a crate in his foster mom’s car (she takes him to work with her) and does well. He might enjoy a car seat to look outside, but would need to be restrained because he likes to move around a lot. He is on a special dog food, Origen. He gets an insulin shot in the morning and one in the evening after his meal. His foster mom usually gives him a little snack before he goes to bed. You can buy insulin and syringes at Walmart for a very reasonable cost. NovodlinN is $25 per bottle and 100 syringes are about 12.00. Mac is ready for his furever home! He is neutered, utd, hw neg, fecal negative, current on flea, tick preventative and comes with leash and collar. All vet records, insulin, supplies, and 6 months of heartworm preventative will also come with this sweetie. $200.00 adoption donation. Approved app, reference check and home visit required to adopt.
