Taz is being fostered in NC, BDRA will assist with transport.
What we know about Taz:

What Taz's foster mom has to say about Taz:
Taz is a very sweet boy at 15 years of age and 15.9 pounds. He came to us with severe dermatitis and severe dental disease. After a round of Apoquel and having three teeth removed, he is well on his way to feeling so much better. The bald spot on his back is even starting to grow back.
Taz does have incontinence during the day so he wears a belly band. He has never done number 2 in the house. While crated at night he has not had one accident.
He is listed as a Terrier Mix but I've been in touch with a Cairn Terrier Rescue and they believe he is full Cairn Terrier and could have a couple good years left in him.
He was also noted as just being blind but he is partially deaf as well. I say he is almost completely deaf as the only thing he can hear is my Maltipoo barking when he is about a foot away.
He has a fantastic personality. Once he finds "his person" he is completely thrilled. He makes little grunting noises - it's very cute. He mapped out our home in a couple of days and gets around quite well. He is definitely driven by scent.
He does startle, so I've learned that putting my hand in front of his nose so he knows I'm there prior to petting him, helps. He loves to nap next to his favorite person and will even plop right across your lap and make himself comfortable.
He is great with my two dogs even though they have not been very gracious to him but he would be fine as a single pet in the house.
He does not do stairs very well as he is a low rider so having a ramp outside or picking him up is simple enough.
He loves soft chew toys while he's awake but mostly he sleeps.
Even though he can't see, sometimes he looks at you like he can and that makes fostering him so worth it. He will make a great companion in a quiet home.
BDRA has voted against the use of electric fencing immediately.
