My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jax is an adult family, adventuring dog that requires a stern leader and loads of love. He's happiest if he has a perimeter to check, loads of space to run, rats to hunt (he's good at it). As long as there is at least one person to scratch his butt every day, he's good with life.

We've had him since he was a puppy and has grown up with another medium female dog his whole life. He can adapt to SOME other female dogs and seems to ignore most cats and small dogs if told to do so - however he would be best with a small family as a single pet who has a purpose. That purpose is to love and protect the home, the family, and help to discern what is safe and get rid of pets and threats. Be this at home, in the yard, or out camping in the wilderness.

Verbal and hand commands, box trained, lead trained, indoor/outdoor pet, family, security, hilarious personality, goofy, silly, strong, loyal, respectable, to-be-respected, cats ok, other medium/large female dogs should be ok. Fixed.
