My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

When we found these little pups they were living alone in the woods. They were sick and starved. It was a awful site and anyone could see they have lived through hell. There are two, Iggy, male and Alisha female. The pair are extremely close. They have survived a lot for their few months upon this earth.
We were called about some pups at a building site. We went over to pick them up and couldn’t.
catch them. Took us all day to Trap the male and we could not get the smaller female. I was upset all night knowing she was alone and scared. The next day she was caught but the pup bit out of fear.
These pups look good now but the fear of humans is so strong in them I feel they may never fully recover. They are, however, young and if the right person adopted them, they may be able to bring them around. It will take a person with a lot of love and patience to help them. Watching them play and in action, they look like a normal happy set of pups. But as you approach them they are scared to death. The male is a lot better than the female. The male will be ok in time, but the female will always be a tiny bit stand offish. The female , when she knows you, will allow you to approach her and is ok with that. But if you look directly at her and she sees you, then the fear rises. So due to the situation we do not want to separate them. The male takes care of the female and watches over her. She is a happy girl but she is just scared of people. The person who did this should be in jail. They have been through enough.
When we got them it took weeks to clean them up. The ears were impacted with mud and every bone showed. Their ears were bloody with all the bites and they had cuts. It was reported to me that a man had tried to kill them. Once he knew we were there and trying to help them he left them alone. He threw rocks and sticks at them and yelled at them. This is why people scare them so much.
They have had a rough go of it and we only want to get them placed with someone who is willing to work with them to bring them around. Fear is a awful thing. For anyone who has had a situation where they have experienced fear, they know how debilitating it is!!!! Please consider helping these pups. I have other pics but they are just to bad to show. If your interested please let us know.
