My story

Zulu #6708 is a 4-year-old male, Bull Mastiff mix. Give Zulu a chance to earn your trust and love; he’ll be your best friend ever. He is nervous and shy when you first meet him. He will definitely require patience and time with his new adopter(s) in order to gain his trust. But once he does trust you, he is a completely different dog. He has high energy and would love a large backyard to play in. He will do best in a quiet, low activity household; he doesn't like loud noises; because of this no children in the home. Zulu is good with other dogs. He is very treat-motivated and knows the commands: sit, stay, off, down and come. He walks great on a leash. He is eager to meet new dogs when out on walks. We are looking for an adopter with experience with scared dogs. . He weighs 95 pounds and is full grown. This pup is microchipped. We believe you can always teach an ‘old’ dog new tricks, so we highly recommend continued obedience training for this smart pup; it stimulates the dog's mind and establishes a good dog/adopter relationship. This pup, like all pups, should be on heartworm preventative; an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.
