My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hope’s Girl (aka Hope) is a 5 month old hound mix and is ready to find her forever home!! Her adoption fee is $400 which includes her spay, microchip implant, fecal exam, and shots up to date.

Hope’s favorite things are treats, meal time, belly rubs, antlers, play time, being outside, and snuggles. She is very playful and energetic but loves to cuddle too. A fenced in yard would be ideal as Hope prefers to do her business with privacy instead of on a leash and loves to lay outside on the patio or explore the yard with her nose! Hope does well with other dogs but younger dogs may be best to match her desire to play, and she is very friendly with people. She has done great in her foster home...she is crate trained and mostly potty trained. She is super smart and follows routines easily and learns quickly. She deserves a a home she can call her own!!!

Please note:
All dogs require a $100 training deposit. Once confirmation of the completion of a training class has been sent to the rescue, you will receive your deposit back in full.

As we are a rescue all of our adult dogs/puppies for adoption must be spayed or neutered. Although we make every attempt to have this done before finding their adoptive families, this is not always possible. Please speak with your adoption coordinator to see of this service has already been performed or they will explain to you if your new dog/puppy will need this service while in your care at no cost to you.

When emailing please include your phone number to help speed up the adoption process. Also, for the safety of our dogs we only adopt within a 2 hour radius of Joliet, Illinois to allow our volunteers to do home checks if necessary.
