Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hello,
This sweet girls name is Wilma. She is a pocket pit bull. I rescued her about a year ago from my local shelter when she was on the euthanasia list. My sister and I have fostered dogs on and off all our lives and try as mich as possible to help out when we can. Wilma is definitely one of a kind. She loves to cuddle and give a bunch of kisses, but she can be a bit excitable which is hilarious watching those short little legs go. She is definitely a bully breed. Those that have experience with the breed know what I mean. She firmly believes she is a lap dog and no one is going to tell her differently. Her sworn enemy is the closest lawn mower and her favorite toy is the water hose. She loves water, so much in fact that she might end up in the shower with you if you leave the door open.
Wilma will need to be an only dog. She usually does fine with dogs, but occasionally she will act aggressive when she wants something they have or a dog acts agressive towards her. I don't know her history exactly, but when I got her home I noticed long pink scars running down her leg. I can only imagine what she went through. But greater days are ahead! I originally got her as a personal dog as she got along great with my smaller dog, but I soon found out she does not do well with dogs her size or bigger. I tried working with her for over a year, but I am finally going to throw in the towel as I know she would do so much better off in a home without other dogs, most likely any other pet.
Please let me know if you think you would be a good fit for her. Also please be aware that I will ask lots of questions as well as do a home check as its very important to me that she goes to a home that would let her be her best chunky self.
