My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lacey (DAS13R2-09), DOB 3/30/09 is a whole lot of cat to love!

Lacy started out with Cat Matchers in 2009 when she was brought into our foster system as a kitten from Dallas Animal Services. She was adopted a few months later and lived with her first family for 7 years. Her owners had a life change and the combined family had a lot of noise and kids running around. She wasn't happy in that environment any longer and she hid most of the time. They felt it was best to find her a new home, so Cat Matchers took her back in. Lacy's second home started with a quiet home with a few dogs, but in the last year or so with downsizing, the smaller area and noise from a few dogs was not making her happy. She started hanging out in one area with her owner. Fast forward to the owner getting really ill and not knowing why. Guess what, owner is super allergic, but it was fine in a larger home. The smaller area and Lacy being the constant companion really put him over the edge. So, here we are, showing Lacy for adoption again. She is super sweet and gentle couch potato who loves back scratches and laying near you. She prefers to be an only cat in a quiet home. If you haven't noticed in the photos, she is a big girl. A little play time and movement will do her good. She likes food, it's her comfort. She is declawed. If you would like to foster or adopt her, just message us

Lacey is fixed, current on vaccines, tested negative for FELV/FIV
