My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sawyers foster mom can not stop gushing about this happy go lucky guy! He is a 'super sweet little dude' who loves attention. He loves being around people and bonds super quick to everyone he meets. He has a very expressive face, so yes, that may be RBF, but I'm sure its not aimed at you! Sawyer loves to sleep with his humans, even going so far as to burrow not only next to your neck but under it. This chatty little dude will keep you entertained especially in exchange for catnip, he's been known to get so excited he tries to chomp down on the whole floor to get more of that nip!! Sawyer loves to play, but he is also just cool with whatever is going on, as long as that involves you!

We would like to place Sawyer with young female cat or an older kitten for companionship.

If you would like to meet and possibly adopt Sawyer, contact Cindy: (773)203-0215, or email: cindy@chicagocatrescue.org

At Chicago Cat Rescue, we are dedicated to both the physical and emotional well being of the cats and kittens in our care. For this reason, unless expressly stated, we do not place cats or kittens in homes where they will be the only cat. Generally cats love the company of other cats, and can become quite lonely when living alone.

Kittens will only be placed in pairs, or to join another kitten or young cat in your home.

CCR adopts to homes in Chicago, or to homes that are within a few miles of our foster families. We do not ship cats or kittens. No exceptions.

Chicago Cat Rescue is an entirely foster based organization. Our ability to help more cats in need is dependent on our availability of foster homes. If you think you could provide a loving foster situation for a cat in need, or would like to learn more about our foster program, please email us, info@chicagocatrescue.org. Thank you!
