SPONSORED FOR RESCUE
Homer has been patiently waiting on his forever home since July of 2013. He is an outgoing boy that loves everyone he meets be they people, dogs (big & small) or cats. He has been known to chase kitties that run from him, but if they stand their ground, he will not bother them. He is mid to high energy & is used to walking for about an hour a day in addition to having a large fenced yard to run in. He doesn’t mind if you skip a day occasionally, but he will then have extra energy to burn. He is housetrained & has never had any accidents in the house, though we did catch him marking in the first few weeks he was in our home. His favorite activity is to play with other dogs & he will need to be in a home with at least one other dog. He would make a wonderful pet for someone who fosters as he instantly welcomes new dogs into our home. He is athletic & we think he would do well with agility training. He can jump high & is very quick! He also responds well to commands. He knows to sit before getting treats & before he gets his food. When not playing or walking, he likes to cuddle up on the couch with his people or doggy friends. He is pretty quiet & rarely barks. Overall, Homer is a sweetheart who is an easy pup to love!
