My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ellie is a sweetheart! House trained, good with dogs & cats. She loves to walk/hike. Ellie came from a hoarding situation where she was not properly socialized with people & due to that, she will need a family/rescue that is used to working with shy dogs. It takes her several days to warm up to someone new & during the adjustment period she will shut down & stay in one spot observing the new people. It takes her awhile to trust someone new, but once she knows that she can trust you, she is a silly fun loving girl! She has just learned to sit before getting her food & before any treats & is cute as can be while doing it! Make sure to watch her video!! She is a a gentle girl that loves to play with other dogs & her favorite thing to do is to hike in the woods! She is used to being crated during the day & sleeping in bed with her humans at night. Ellie will need to go to a home with at least one other resident dog as she looks to other dogs for reassurance. ****She does require a large fenced in yard.
