My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sweet old Clarence came to the shelter in poor condition. We learned this old man had lived his life on a chain and had horrible dental issues. We had to take him. He needed a soft place to rest and he needed a soft diet. In spite of his health problems and the life of neglect he endured, he is as sweet as they come. He is still rather frail but he is getting there! He has gained 4 pounds! 

Clarence was also found to have tick disease (ehrlichia) and we are treating. He is amazingly HW negative. He was also badly anemic. And Clarence has a heart murmur and is on medications for his heart, too. He must get stronger before we can do his dental work. Donations are badly needed for this old boy!
