My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Pappy is a darling little beagle but he has had a rough life. He is a bit shy but very sweet. He has an old break that has healed offset and calloused over to the point it cannot be fixed. He uses the leg but does have a pronounced limp. He has a bit of arthritis so I have started him on fish oil and turmeric. He also had his ears cut to "mark" him. That always breaks my heart. I wish the hunters here would use the tattoo method instead of this brutal ear cutting. I have had dogs missing a full half ear with the other ear notched. 

We learned after we had him vetted that his real name was Chase. So now we call him Pappy Chase :) Pappy has an amazing beagle bay! He enjoys himself in the fenced yard with Joshua, thay have become fast friends. They like to chase each other and chase balls and bay at birds, squirrels and the outside cats. Pappy loves to lay up on the sofa and he takes treats so gently from your fingers. He sleeps all night in his crate and loves his soft beagle bed. He thinks retirement is very nice :)
