Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Chantelle! She is guessed to be about 4 years old and her ideal weight is probably around 8.5 lbs. She came to us from Animal Rescue Corps' Operation Caged Hell, where she was confiscated from deplorable conditions (watch rescue mission video here. We think she can be seen in a pen around the 0:45 second mark on the left: https://www.facebook.com/164981283535202/videos/277987273653197) Chantelle came to us pregnant. Inial ultrasound showed 2 babies, but by the time we took an xray only one was visible. We think the 2nd passed and was ansorbed by the body. She gave birth to one puppy, but it passed away in the first 48 hours. She has been recovering from the loss of her baby and is now ready to find her forever home.
Like many chihuahuas she takes a little time to warm up to new people, but once she trust you she is a doll who love to snuggle. We have told that she is not good at the vet, but that is manageable with good technicians and staff.
Chantelle's adoption donation of $300 helps cover the cost of her medical care. Chantelle is current on rabies and distemper vaccinations. She has been tested for heartworm, tick diseases and internal parasites and is negatve and on prevention. She is also microchipped and comes with a lifetime registration.
Application, reference checks, and home visit required. Adopters must live 1.5 hours driving distance from Romeoville, IL. For more information on adopting, please email us at info@perfectpooches.org.
If you are interested in adopting, please complete an adoption application, which can be found on our website at www.perfectpooches.org under the Adoption Process tab. All dogs are spayed/neutered, current on vaccines, heartworm tested (age appropriate), fecal tested and/or dewormed, and microchipped.
