PLEASE READ ALL OF THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION BEFORE YOU RESPOND.
DAKOTA, her mom ANGEL and her 4 siblings (JASPER - BUCK - COOPER - BEAR) were saved from a bad situation in Los Angeles County. Now DAKOTA is ready for her REAL home.
DAKOTA's foster called her the little "rag doll" because she would go limp and hang her head because she WAS so very shy. She loved to bury her head everywhere or hide. But when she didn't know I was looking, I saw her engage with all her brothers in playing with them, and would explore her surroundings. I would insist that she be in my arms whenever possible and she would sit indefinitely on my lap or in my arms and she would stay without trying to get away as I gave her attention and kisses. She is so sweet now.
DAKOTA is currently located at PETSMART in Palm Desert, CA off Monterey.
NOVEMBER 2020: With all the needed social distancing...we are still doing adoptions. We can do meet and greets BY APPOINTMENT at any PETSMART near you. But steps 1-3 of the ADOPTION PROCESS must be done first. VOLUNTEERS are the only ones allowed to do meet and greets.
Please note that we are a SMALL rescue based out of Hemet, California. We are all volunteers (4 people) that work for the rescue so if we haven't reached out be patient. Gas donations always appreciated!
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. Submit Application
2. Interview
3. Will be notified of Approved Application
4. Meet and Greet with kitty
5. Sign Adoption Contract
6. Pay Adoption Fee
7. Take the Kitty Home
8. Home Check (scheduled at a later date)
