Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Marley is available to adopt! She's a roughly 2 year old lab mix, in the 40lb range. Marley was originally rescued with an ax wound in the center of her head and badly underweight in February of 2020 by 'AYUDAR x AYUDAR', a rescue operation in Mexico. She had to be hospitalized for almost a month in Matamoros Tamaulipas Mexco. Marley was already pregnant at the time of her injury. After having her puppies, Marley and her puppies were transferred to our rescue partner FAART, located in southern Texas, and then eventually up to the beautiful Pacific NW to our rescue, Pronto Puppy Rescue, for a fresh start.
Marley's puppies were weaned and travelled to us first and have already found wonderful, new forever homes. Unfortunately Marley wasn't cleared to travel until recently due to her injury. However, she's now been fully vetted, was cleared for transport, and is now here with us in SE Washington State, happy, healthy, healed, and looking for her own forever home.
Marley is a very playful, fun loving girl who likes to be cuddled and craves attention and playtime. We're looking for an energetic, active, family with a well secured, 6ft fenced yard, that's home more often than not. Marley is good sized and energetic, so a home with older children is preferred but not required. No cats, small dogs, or other small animals please. She does great with larger, neutered male dogs and generally does well with younger, submissive females (she loves playing with other dogs! But Marley herself is quite dominant, so most likely will do best in a home where she's the only female dog). Her adoption fee is $200, and she's fixed, microchipped, and current on all vaccines.
