Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Beautiful Miss Ginger is a perfect lady, and an absolute gem! Despite a lifetime of obvious neglect, this 9 year old girl's sweet nature and love of life are undaunted. She has so much love to give, makes no demands, and appreciates everything!
Ginger enjoys leash walks, naps, car trips, squirrel watching, and helping in the garden. She's perfectly house trained, calm, good with other dogs and all people. Given her interest in squirrels, probably not great with cats. Ginger came to us with ear and eye infections, terrible teeth (24 were extracted during her dental), heavy flea infestation and mild arthritis. She has been treated for all is in good health for her age, eating regular food, and on no medications beyond preventatives and some vitamins (fish oil and glucosamine chews). She gets around fine and manages even the thirteen wood steps to our backyard without trouble. We regularly do a morning walk of five miles or so, which she enjoys but doesn't need. She'd be perfectly happy with a couple of reasonable daily leash walks and a yard to explore. Hearing was damaged by lifelong untreated ear infections, but the silver lining in that is, no problems with thunder, fireworks or gunshots!
She's spayed, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, and microchipped. Mostly, Ginger wants to be near her favorite humans. All she really needs is love and a safe, comfortable place to life some GOOD years. In return, she offers affection, devotion, gratitude and unconditional love! If you have a caring space for a sweet get-along girl, please consider Ginger!
