Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Mater and McQueen were two strays that ended up in a rural animal control facility on death row. ABTCR made arrangements to save both these boys and neither of them wasted a second looking back in the rearview mirror as they headed to their Charlotte area foster home. Mater is a sweet 4-6 year old boy that is learning to live the good life full of cuddles and snuggles. He would thrive in a home with one or more doggie playmates and lots of toys to enjoy. Still a bit underweight at about 70 pounds, Mater is cratetrained and housetrained. Basic obedience (sit, stay, etc) and leash manners are still a work in progress but he's improving. He sleeps in his crate at night and has been left out for brief period of time unsupervised (2-3 hrs) and hasn't had any accidents or been destructive, although generally he's crated if left home alone. He mostly ignores the resident cat and has been great with all of the new dogs he's met.
