My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Meet Christopher!  Named for the person who found him, this sweet boy was born around November 2019.

Prior to coming into SPIN rescue, Christopher was hit by a car.  A local homeless man found him, nurtured him, and notified us that the pup needed medical care.

Dedicated SPIN volunteers picked Christopher up and rushed him to the vet.  His front leg was broken in at least three places, he was anemic, and he had some mild internal bleeding.

After spending a week getting fixed up and spoiled by our loyal orthopedic specialist friends at North Colony Animal Clinic, sweet and handsome Christopher is now a happy, healthy, and rambunctious tri-pod!  It turns out that four legs and paws was over-rated for this young rock star!

Christopher loves to play with his human friends and his doggie friends, and also loves lounging in the sunlight by the back door or sprawled out on his favorite doggie bed.

Christopher is still young so he most definitely needs an older canine companion(s) to lead the way!  If you don’t already have a dog buddy for him, adopt one from us!

He is okay with cats, fantastic on car rides, and would likely do well with older kids that won’t accidentally cause him to lose his balance and fall.

Loyal friends of SPIN from all over the country have been following Christopher's story, now it's time to write his happy ending!

SPIN Pyrs are all in foster homes in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Potential adopters are asked to make travel arrangements if they live elsewhere. All SPIN dogs are spayed or neutered, current on vaccinations and on heartworm prevention. Please go to our website www.SpinRescue.org and fill out an application for this great Great Pyrenees!
