My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

If you have it in your heart to adopt a senior, I could very well be your girl. Although, my foster mom says all that senior stuff is kind of bologna for me since I do so well for my age! I really do still have a healthy amount energy so I am very able to do all the fun stuff you might like me too. I love going for walks (especially the squirrel part), car rides and pretty much any adventure as long as I can be with you. I really enjoy hanging outside and sunbathing but only during breaks from my squirrel patrol..... it is a serious job after all but I never let my healthy energy level get in the way of my ultimate favorite thing—to be cuddled and napping on the couch next to you. Oh, and I will never turn down a good belly rub!
I may be a little anxious from being left tied to shelter door overnight by my old family, they moved away and couldn’t take me with them, so I don’t really like to be alone. We have been working so hard on my manners and patience but foster mom says I am doing great and thinks because I am a such a smart girl with such desire to please that I will get it in no time. I just didn’t have a lot rules before so I will need some guidance from you on what is best for me. I am just a little thing (for a bulldog anyway) at 35lbs so I am pretty easy to manage and a great size for your lap.I never have accidents in the house and have no big medical needs. I had some skin issues when I came to my foster family that have completely gone away, it could have been food allergies or maybe I was just really stressed with all the unknown of the time. I have a great temperament but I would like someone that has a lot of time for me because of my anxiety. I do great with the other dogs and kids in my foster family but my foster mom thinks I would really thrive if I could be your #1 for a little while. I’ve spent a lot of time having/taking care of babies and competing for attention in my life that I might just like a little break. I know I could quickly steal your heart with my sweetness and promise to provide you with a wonderful, loving companionship.
