My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Chopper is an incredibly smart, handsome and love bug of a 1 year old Hound, Shepherd, and Mt. Cur mix. While our boy continues to work on potty training he keeps his kennel fairly clean. Chopper’s adoption fee is $300 which includes his neuter, microchip, fecal exam, and shots up to date. He is a super sweet boy. Please consider opening your heart and home.

Please note:
All dogs require a $100 training deposit. Once confirmation of the completion of a training class has been sent to the rescue, you will receive your deposit back in full.

As we are a rescue all of our adult dogs/puppies for adoption must be spayed or neutered. Although we make every attempt to have this done before finding their adoptive families, this is not always possible. Please speak with your adoption coordinator to see of this service has already been performed or they will explain to you if your new dog/puppy will need this service while in your care at no cost to you.

When emailing please include your phone number to help speed up the adoption process. Also, for the safety of our dogs we only adopt within a 2 hour radius of Joliet, Illinois to allow our volunteers to do home checks if necessary.

Characteristics:
Smart, Playful, Affectionate, Easy to Please
