LEGOLAS is a very cute boy! We believe him to be a Terrier mix, possibly some Chihuahua, maybe some Whippet or Pug mixed in there giving him those long legs!!?? Unfortunately without DNA testing we can’t be certain of his breed...we just know that he’s very cute!

LEGOLAS was rescued from the local shelter. He can be a little shy upon meeting new people, but warms up fairly quickly. Then you see what a happy, playful guy he is! Lots of energy and has springboards on his feet as this boy can jump!!
Because LEGOLAS is an energetic dog, he will need an active woman who will include him in activities and who will engage him in exercise and play.
LEGOLAS has shown some anxiety especially within the first month of being at his new home, so he needs a woman who understands his fears of abandonment and will be patient with him while he settles in to his new home. It may take him a little longer than most, but after he settles and knows he lives with you, and will not be abandoned again, his anxiety lessens a lot.
LEGOLAS is a velcro dog and will attach himself to one woman. He definitely prefers women more than men and will not interact much with a man, so his best matched home will be with a woman who works from home or is retired and active,
LEGOLAS does well with children over 7 yrs of age who are respectful of a dog and know boundaries, but again, he will not be interactive with children as he will only be interested in being with the woman he has bonded with.
LEGOLAS is housetrained and crate trained. He walks pretty well on leash.
LEGOLAS is a sweet tempered active guy who will be a great companion for a stay at home or work from home woman or retired woman looking for a velcro dog to take everywhere!

LEGOLAS adoption fee is $250 Which includes health examination, current vaccinations, neuter, microchip, flea and deworming treatment, along with any other medical or dental deemed necessary by our veterinarian.
