My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Please note: Leah is currently being fostered in Alabama and will transport to Rhode Island once she has been adopted. If you would like to learn more about her, please fill out a application and we’ll put you in contact with her foster family

Meet Leah! She’s a beautiful 5 month old shepherd/lab mix. She’s a outgoing girl that loves car rides and playing with the other dogs in her foster home. She has an extremely loving nature. She is crate and house trained. She’s a active girl that would do great in a home that will take her on walks/hikes or runs. She has a fun curious nature to her and loves exploring. If you would like to add this sweet girl to your home please apply below

If interested in adopting one of our available pets, please fill out an application at http://www.dixiegirldogrescue.org/adoption-application

PLEASE MAKE NOTE- OUR DOGS ARE FOSTERED IN ALABAMA UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED
Our rescue pets are fostered in Southern foster homes (unless otherwise stated) and are posted for adoption once they are completely vetted and ready to travel. Our pets are adoptable in Alabama and New England States. Our adoption fee includes transport fee, spay/neuter, current vaccinations, deworming, heart worm test for animals over 7 months old, all necessary vetting and an interstate health certificate. Once an application is received, our team is happy to answer all of your questions and send additional pictures and videos. Thank you for thinking rescue!
