Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Your eyes aren’t fooling you. Bb is back and on the adoption market. This 13-year-old, 54- pound, Airedale Terrier and German Shepherd mix is looking for an experienced adopter, one who has some background in animal behavior. He needs a quieter home without a lot of visitors. He takes a bit of time to adjust to new people (especially men). He also needs a home where Bb is free to be … well, Bb. What exactly is Bb’s personality you ask? He loves to play fetch, go on walks, and play with his squeaky toys. Bonus, he never has torn up a squeaky toy! On the flip side, Bb is an older gentleman with some arthritis, so he does enjoy to just chill too. Some days he’s not much in the mood for walking or playing, which is why he needs an experienced adopter, someone to read those cues of when he isn’t feeling the greatest. He has also been found to have some resource guarding issues when he’s not feeling well, which is why he’d do best in a home with no kids. This old timer also prefers to run solo, so no other dogs please. Bb is cat like when it comes to attention, most of the time he solicits it, but there are the moments he pulls away when he has had enough. But when he does want attention, he does a special “booty scratch dance” and even rolls over for some belly rubs. He is a one of a kind guy, that deserves a home to let him live out his golden years without requiring much from him. BB's adoption fee is $150 and includes spaying/neutering, age-appropriate vaccinations, microchipping, and a free wellness visit at Phoenix Mountain Animal Hospital. Our adoption hours are Thursday-Saturday from 11:00 am-4:00 pm
