My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hey there, fellow feline enthusiasts! Aspen here, proudly holding the title of 'bonus kitty'—a delightful surprise straight from the colony, embraced with open arms and plenty of purrs! You'll often catch me in action, striking my trademark yoga pose: Feet-to-the-Sky. It's a daily routine, sometimes even twice if the mood strikes, regardless of location. I'm all about that zen life, folks! Now, I may be an independent dude, not too keen on those pesky pets, but give me a cozy bed and I'm as snug as a bug in a rug—especially when the chilly weather rolls in. Yup, I'm the master of snuggling under the covers, ready to keep you warm through the night. So, if you're in need of a kitty with a 'zen purrsonality' who'll guarantee you 'Nama-stay' in a state of tranquility, then look no further! Aspen's the name, and I'm here to bring a whole lot of chill vibes and purr-fect snuggles to your home sweet home. Let's make some zen-filled memories together, shall we?

Go meet their pets

We will be holding adoption event days with PetSmart on Ft Jackson Blvd and Two Notch Rd as well as PetSense on Garners Ferry Rd. These are partnerships that we've initiated and that have been greeted with open arms by these great organizations. MUCH More to Come!

More about this rescue

At Cat Around Town Project, we believe that by spaying and neutering as many stray and colony cats as possible, we are proactively controlling overpopulation at its source. All kittens and any cats that are adoptable are removed from the colonies and adopted to suitable homes. One day, when the supply meets the demand, there will be a home waiting for every kitten in our community. .
