Hi guys,

My name is Chuck. Tough sounding name huh??? I'm not really all that tough. I had quite a rough beginning after all.

I was the result of a mating of 2 different breeds and although both my parents were registered, the breeders decided me and my 7 siblings were not worth anything. They mistreated us just let us loose to roam on our own. How awful!!! How could a person be that mean and cruel??

My little sister got hung in barbed wire trying to avoid being trampled by a Brahma bull. I saw the whole thing...it was so scary. We feared for our very young lives! The local sheriff's office found us and brought us here to Lucies.

Over the course of about 3 weeks, more of our siblings showed up here to receive the loving help and care needed. Of course, they all found families, so here I am all alone without my siblings.

Don't get me wrong, I love it here at Lucies!! They have the greatest group of caring volunteers that take care of me and the other doggies here. I would just like to have a family of my very own....

I'm kindy goofy, kinda shy, and I wiggle my butt when I receive attention and get so excited that I beat these peeps with my tail!! LOL Although I am shy, I'm sure if you have enough patience with me, we could the best of friends. :)

I am leash and crate trained and I get along with other dogs (boys and girls) and I love kids!
