Meeka is an approximately 3 year old, 60 lb. Boxer/Pit mix who lived nicely with cats, kids, and another dog before coming to TriCounty Animal Rescue Center. At the shelter, Meeka is the class clown with a bouncy spirit; when she plays outside with her favorite rope toy it is so hard for her to contain her exuberance. She even makes a little mock growling sound to let you know how enthralled with the game she is. Clearly life for Meeka is all about fun, fun, fun! Meeka seems to be housebroken as long as she has regular potty breaks throughout the day; she rides well in a car; she is a strong, young adult dog so she pulls enthusiastically at first when on a leash because she is so thrilled about the possibility for an adventure, but gradually she settles down into an easier stride as she explores her favorite walking trail behind the shelter. Meeka is lovable, and affectionate; she is just waiting to splash you all over with her goofy, doggie joy.
