My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Maizie was saved from a high kill shelter in the Nashville, TN area, this is done at this shelter on a weekly bases. This is a rural shelter that we have been pulling dogs from a lot lately. She came in as a stray and no one claimed her and her time was up. She was not going to be put down on our watch. A wonderful family in Northern VA saw her picture on our petfinder page and fell in love with her. We got her transported to VA last weekend. Everything was great until the mum was rushed to the ER and found out she is allergic to dogs. They are heart broken to give her up as they said she is a wonderful dog. She is great with their little boy and very good in the house. Maizie has a beautiful blue merle coat with a docked tail. She is about 2 years old and 43lbs, full grown. She is fully vetted meaning fixed, all shots, heartworm/tick negative and micro chipped. She would love a fenced in yard to run and play in. She will chase a cat if it runs , we have not seen her hurt one but to be on the safe said are saying no cats.
