Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Hoss, the flying dog! This 85-pound sweetheart is so special that he arrived by private plane via three PilotsNPaws flights as he made his way from Central Georgia to his foster in Fort Pierce.
He charmed everyone along the way with his laid-back style and gorgeous smile!
His day started early when he was picked up at the shelter by Patty, a volunteer who drove him to the airport.
The sun had barely risen when pilot Brian arrived and loaded Hoss up for his first flight. This tall guy took up the entire back seat of the aircraft, but as you can see from the photos, he much preferred looking out the front.
Brian met pilot #2 Rick in Lake City and off he went for his second flight to Melbourne. He still enjoyed looking out the front window and the pilot reported he was a first-class passenger.
In Melbourne, Rick met up with pilot #3 Pat and Kiko. They had a quick lunch with Hoss getting a few bites of Frittata. Although he was probably starving since they didn’t serve peanuts on the plane, he gently took the food like a good boy.
After his final descent, Hoss met Tatiana Michalenko his new foster mom who immediately fell in love with this underweight boy. Off they went to her house for dinner and a nap following his big adventure!
Hoss is just a big love bug, which is funny because animal control was called by a person in the parking lot of a dollar store. The person was scared to get out of their car because of Hoss, not because he was being mean, but just because he’s a big, tall boy. Animal Control took him to the shelter and he quickly became a shelter favorite!
Hoss will be up for adoption shortly. If you are interested in him, please put in an application!
