Hi, looking to rehome my mother in laws cat Lucy. She and my cats do not get along. We have tried for a few months and it is not working out. This environment is not good for her. She is very sad and this living situation is stressing her out. She needs a quieter home and someone who is cat savvy. She has had a lot of loss and change in her life. She was moved from NY to SC without her companion cat (companion cat was rehomed prior to moving to sc), 6 weeks later her favorite human passed away, she moved again that same year, introduced to a new dog in the household, (the dog has been rehomed, more change/loss) lived alone while transitioning my MIL living situation, and is now with us. She is part Maine Coon, 10 years young, beautiful, chatty and very funny when she is herself. She really just needs someone to chill with and finally get the right attention and love she is missing. She may do okay with another cat but right now it is hard to tell since she is so stressed.
