We rescued Kaiser from an abusive home over a year ago, and unfortunately cannot keep him due to our schedule and lack of space.
He is very energetic and would do great with someone who is very active or has a lot of property for him to run around on. He is well behaved, but does his best after given the chance to burn off energy with a run or a game of tug-of-war. He can be a little clingy and doesn’t like being left alone, but does well once he is familiar and comfortable with his surroundings.
He would make for a great hunting dog as he naturally points and trees things without being taught how to do so. If not a hunting dog he makes for a great hiking or running partner, and would excel in an open environment like a farm. At the very least a fenced yard with space to play will do. He is very loving and is a good guard dog, wanting above all to keep his owners safe.
He does well with kids but would not be good for a family with toddlers as he doesn’t understand how big he is.
