Just look at those beautiful eyes! Meet miss Lexi, a 13 year old American Pit Bull Terrier who is waiting for her new furr-ever home. She was recently surrendered to the shelter by her previous owner when they weren't able to keep her and her housemates from getting out of the yard. Her previous owners said that she was 13, but she appears to be younger (eyes, teeth, coat, body shape all look like a much younger girl!). Lexi enjoys being sweet-talked to and gently petted, and walks well on a leash. She has a mesmerizing set of blue eyes and a beautiful white coat! Her previous owners said she isn't the biggest fan of cats but she is okay with other dogs, so if you have any other pups in the home we recommend bringing them up for a meet-and-greet to make sure everyone gets along! Lexi absolutely loves treats and is very treat motivated, but she may need to go on a slight diet. Lexi just loves getting petted, lounging around and being your best cuddle buddy. All Lexi wants is the proper love and attention she deserves. She has been doing well with her potty-routine, but will need some time to adjust in a new home. Lexi is spayed, current on her vaccinations, and microchipped. This love bug is heartworm positive but don't let that stop you from taking this sweety home, her treatment is completely covered with her adoption fee!
