My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

**If you are interested in Natalie, please fill out an adoption application on our website: www.roversretreat.org**

Meet Natalie, a beautiful 2 year old golden who came to us from Turkey. She was saved by our wonderful rescuer after being found abandoned on the streets and looking for food. After you meet Natalie you would never know she has experienced anything other than love.

Natalie adores everyone she meets. She gets excited greeting visitors and can tend to jump at first but settles down quickly. She is a Velcro doggie and just wants to be near people. She will be your shadow and will follow behind you into each room and will sit next to you until you move again. And at the end of the day she loves cuddling up with her person in bed.

Our pretty girl has high energy and needs daily walks and play. Her foster family takes her on 2 long walks a day which she really enjoys. She walks very well on leash. Her day is not complete without swimming as Natalie LOVES being in the pool. Her ideal family would have a pool and be happy with her swimming regularly. Natalie gets along great with other dogs and would love to have a doggie playmate in her forever home.

Not only is Natalie super smart, but she loves learning. She mastered using dog door and some basic commands by following her foster doggie sister. She’s doing very well with potty training, but her forever family will need to show her the appropriate place to go and praise her for going there. She has done a bit of counter surfing at her foster home, but is responsive to gentle verbal corrections when needed. She is eager to please and treat motivated, so continuing training with her forever family will be easy.

Natalie is a great family dog that just needs love, attention, and exercise! If you think she might be ‘the’ one for you, please complete our adoption application which can be found on our website: www.roversretreat.org

NOTE: due to the high cost of international transportation and vet care, Natalie’s adoption fee is $1,000
