My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Gaspar is a very special, very brave kitty. He is just 3 years old and was found having been run over by a car. He underwent emergency surgery to rebuild his mouth and one eye. He was on a feeding tube for some time and eventually gained the strength to eat on his own. Gaspar is being loved and cared for at Turco Animal hospital where he receives all his medical and continual cuddle treatment on a very regular basis. He is now well enough to be adopted and needs a special home, where someone can be with him most of the time as he craves attention and a lap to recuperate in. He adores cuddles and lies upside down , while he rubs his head on you for tickles, purring all the time. To top all this he tested positive for feline leukemia. Feline leukemia is very contagious to cats, but only to cats, it cannot pass to humans,dogs or any other species, so he needs a home where he will be the only cat. At the moment he also needs a peaceful home without too much activity as he needs to build up strength and even though he has leukemia he is very strong and should live a long and healthy life. Gaspar is extremely social, is very confident in new environments and immediately takes to everyone he meets. His injuries have in no way affected his physical abilities, he runs around, jumps and leaps mostly into someones arms or squirming between your legs, but his favorite place is tucked in really close to someone to practice his purring.
