Meet Nora! Nora is a very clever girl that loves to run and play. She is an average energy puppy but does require lots of stimulation for her mind. Once she has played or trained sufficiently she is perfectly happy to sit quietly with a chew toy or Kong.
Nora loves toys, balls, sticks, frisbees, basically anything she can chew. Nora is toy, treat, and praise motivated and learns quickly. She is smart enough to learn by following our older border collie and has already figured out the rules set by our older chihuahua, which is no small feat! Nora gets along with all dogs and loves all people. She is particularly attracted to kids and gets really excited to see them. Kids will have to be taught not to run and scream because that just gets her more excited. She would be a good sports prospect, as she is fearless and is already demonstrating self-control and tons of drive to play! She needs a fully fenced yard to allow her to run and play.
Nora is very young, 13 weeks as of September 8, so still working on house training, but is very good in her crate. She sleeps quietly all night, and during the day while we’re working. She doesn’t like to be alone, but she’s enjoying listening to audio books while mom works. She’s just finishing Pride and Prejudice, not sure what her next read will be!
Nora is being fostered in the Kansas City area.
