My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Please note: Hayden is being fostered in Kentucky.
Hayden was found abandoned in central Kentucky. Skinny and with little hope left, his future was uncertain. But one day, good fortune shined upon him and Hayden was lucky to have a a good Samaritan find him and reach out to DREAM. When he first arrived in his foster home he had a number of infections and was in a great deal of pain. His foster mom and dad tried to give him love but he was grumpy, wanted to be left alone and slept many hours each day. After seeing the vet, we found out he had infected ears, many abscessed teeth and even his little skinny booty was inflamed! With all that going on, I would be grumpy too! After a few visits to the doggie Dr, neuter, dental to remove 10 inflamed teeth, a number of days on antibiotics, and lots of yummy, healthy kibble, the real Hayden began to awaken. He wanted to play with his foster sisters and brothers. He nudged his foster mom's hands and feet for pets. He asked to cuddle on the couch during movie nights. He asked to go for walks and rides in the car. This little guy is not going to miss his second chance! Hayden is loving but would do best in a quiet, low energy, adult only home with humans that find joy in his gruff little bark and the skip in his step.If he could talk, know he would have his own Podcast sharing his commentary on the world and living life to the fullest. He loves other small doggies and is always up for a walk. He does well in a crate but prefers the comfort of the human bed. He is fully vetted but does have a heart murmur and some vision and hearing deficits but nothing slows him down. Hayden's is neutered, currently on vaccinations, on heartworm prevention and is microchipped. His adoption fee is $300 to help off set his vetting bill. If you are ready for a handsome little guy to love and you allow him, he will show you what life is all about fill out an adoption application at: https://www.dreamrescue.org/adoption-application-1
