My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rob Stark is the cutest little red Maine Coon kitten. He is more orange than his brother, Bran. They are about 12-14 weeks old. Both boys are very social, outgoing, and playful. Rob needs a lively, active, playful home. He is doll who runs to you the minute he sees you. Preference will be given to the adopter who adopts both Rob and Bran.

Rob is a kitten and must go home under our Companion Cat Policy. He must be adopted with another young cat (under the age of 4) or kitten or go to a home with another young cat or kitten. Stay-at-home adopters do not count. Dogs/puppies do not count. No exceptions.

If you are interested in adopting Rob, please email us at merlinshoperagdollrescue@gmail.com. He is in a foster home in Ennis, Texas. His adoption fee is $300.

Sorry, we do not ship our cats or provide any transportation. All potential adopters should reside in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, New Mexico, or Louisiana. We will not adopt outside of those states.

Who We Are: We are a private rescue and privately funded. WE ARE NOT A SHELTER, BUT A RESCUE. A rescue is a PRIVATE HOME and not a public place to visit. Adopters must make appointments prior to visiting foster homes. All of our cats are spayed/neutered, FIV/FELV tested, wormed, de-fleaed, and vaccinated prior to adoption.

Adoption Process: We require all potential adopters to fill out an adoption application prior to setting up an appointment to visit with the cat(s). We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. If you call or email us, we will provide you with an application via email.

YOUNG CAT COMPANION POLICY: Unless otherwise indicated, all cats under the age of 3 must go into a home with another cat/kitten under the age of three or be adopted with a buddy. Ragdolls and Maine Coons are physically slow to mature, benefit greatly from the social interactions with another cat and often long for the companionship. Obviously, some young adults not raised around other cats or with more independent personalities may be exceptions to those rules, but that is up to the discretion of the Rescue to assess that need and is not negotiable. Special prices are made for buddy adoptions.
