My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Ollie
Ollie is a charming little guy. We rescued Ollie from a high-kill shelter. He, along with five other dogs, came to our shelter on their Freedom Ride for Life. They arrived on August 28, 2020. Ollie (and his sister Mollie) started charming us immediately with their friendly and sweet personalities.
Ollie is six months old. His father is an American Bulldog, but we believe him to be a terrier mix, because of his small size and looks. We just aren’t sure what he is mixed with, he could be part Jack Russell or Boston terrier or even beagle. He currently weighs 23 pounds and most likely will stay on the small to small/medium side. He’s a low rider. He has an awesome brindle and white coat, a happy expression and ears that have a mind of their own. He, and his sister, are uber adorable. They make us happy when they’re around – so full of life and fun. Ollie is outgoing and very active. He has a big personality. He’s working on his leash manners and is picking up his training quickly. He, like his sister, is smart. Ollie plays well with other dogs and shares yard time with Mollie and his half-brother Pax. They have a great time playing and running around. Ollie likes cuddling with his people and welcomes attention.
If you’re looking for a compact companion (or maybe two) to open your heart and home to, Ollie may be the one for you. He’s a great little dog and he’s going to make someone a best buddy.

Resident animals are primarily owner relinquished and also accepted from local Animal Control. The facility usually is operating at capacity with a list of animals waiting for space to open.
