Snuggles is a female long-haired Doxie mix that is a tiny loving little girl. She is very quiet in the house and well mannered. She is housebroken and prefers to go potty outside but knows how to use the potty pads. She arrived with HUGE bilateral hernias (grapefruit size) in her groin area and her intestines and some internal organs were inside the hernias. She had a very expensive surgery to remove the hernias and put her organs back where they belong. She is feeling and looking so much better now! Other than that, she is in excellent health, is spayed, UTD, and heartworm negative.

Given the surgery, we are looking for a quiet adult home where she can relax and hang out with her person all day. While she gets along with other pups in the house, she would prefer to have her owner all to herself. She also should not be jumping on and off furniture or going up and down lots of steps as we want the best chance for success with the surgery. Therefore, she will need a single-story home (ranch, condo, apt) with ramps for the couch, bed, and doors to the yard. And she needs an owner that can handle picking up and carrying a 10 lb. dog on a regular basis when she needs assistance.
